Client Focus:

The clients I serve have developed out of relationships that have grown in a variety of areas.

I grew up in northeast Seattle, and therefore serve individuals and families that generally live in the following areas:  Laurelhurst, Viewridge, Bryant, Wedgewood, Ravenna, and the surrounding areas.  I’ve lived in this area for a very long time, and am know by the residents of this area.  I provide specialized information to residents of this community - Northeast Seattle Information and Statistics.

With that mentioned, I also have a wide variety of family members, friends, and associates that live around the Central Puget Sound - my work takes me throughout this region.  For customers that desire a broader perspective on the Seattle and Central Puget Sound Market, I provide that as well.

I have a strong background in the commercial construction industry and a tremendous interest in the finance industry.  I therefore serve many individuals from those career areas:  contractors, architects, engineers, attorneys, commercial bankers, investment bankers, venture capitalists, and marketing professionals.

My goal is to utilize my analytical talents, breadth of market knowledge, personal network, to ensure that you have a positive and successful experience.

Background Narrative:

I’m pleased you’re considering me to represent you in this important transaction.  I’m sure you will find my abilities more than adequate for handling your transaction, and I trust that my personality will make for a positive working relationship and an enjoyable experience.

I know, appreciate, and love our community.  As a resident of the Seattle area for over 35 years, I remember when SR520 was a toll bridge and a small airstrip existed by the freeway in Issaquah.

From a young age I have been excited by the built environment.  As a youngster, I spent countless hours helping my family construct a summer home.  This initial interest helped shape my career.

I attended the University of Puget Sound for one year, then transferred to the University of Washington to complete my education.  I graduated with degrees in Architecture, Construction Management, and Economics.  Education and continual learning is the foundation and an important element of my delivery of professional services.

As an Architecture student I developed the creative trait of asking “what if” when challenged with various issues.  My Economics training helped me develop the ability to rigorously tear apart and dissect issues.  And as an Engineering student, I expanded my curiosity for wondering how and why something works and functions.  All these elements help make me a rounded effective real estate professional.

Outside my career, I have a deep ongoing passion for Economics – having also performed graduate level studies in this field.  I enjoy closely following the ideas and thoughts surrounding this field, and understanding how humans make their collective decisions.  This is an added benefit I bring to my clients.

I’ve been around the real estate industry since college.  I’ve built numerous familiar and high profile commercial construction projects.  These complex projects required sophisticated management – the same type of management expertise which I bring to your transaction.  I’ve also developed a number of assisted living facilities throughout the Western United States.

As is probably evident, I’m someone who believes in the details.  I’m an individual who understands that developing effective strategies and clearly communicating all aspects of the many issues in this industry benefits all parties.  Solving technical and people/management issues in the execution of my duties is what success is all about.

The real estate profession drives me; but outside of work I love spending time with my family and the outdoors.  I have a very supportive wife, and an energetic 2 year old daughter.  Waterskiing, mountain biking, kayaking, and snowshoeing are amongst a few of the activities I perform for relaxation.

I’m proud your considering me, my knowledge, and my energy to manage your transaction and save you from the landmines – you won’t be disappointed.  Thank you for your consideration – you’re making a wise choice.
